October 2009 heralded the end of Mangrove Route's first full season of Turtle Tours. The crew and their families celebrated, with a full day out on the Snubfin North East of Darwin. The Vernon Islands and Escape Cliffs was the destination, and activities included fishing , diving the Blue Holes, a bush walk through the ruins at Escape Cliffs, and a forced meander through the Mangroves at Point Hotham (good one Jim)
